See how I spent my holidays on Second Life. A fun ride sailing with my family. And a little info about Sailing on SL waters :)
Every Resident of Second life has different ways of enjoying it. No need to mention them all but whats the best part of fun for me on SL is Adventures. Adventure without friends is nothing. A little late sharing but now that I'm back heres the throwback to Xmas to New Year Fun! Not all Winteryy hehe.

"Life was meant for good friends and great adventures."
No matter how far inland we live, there’s something about the sea of SL that calls to us. It’s wide. It’s deep. It’s blue. It’s a canvas upon which we can paint adventures we otherwise can’t do on dry land.
Sailing in Second Life
There are many very active groups of people involved with sailing in Second Life. Many Yacht Clubs are active and doing weekly races and some times a year there are huge regattas. At least twice a week there are cruising, often with a cool party afterwards on the final destination. The most Favorite one of mine in which I take part myself is Kinky Seas by Fair Winds Marina & The Getaway Lounge. We go for adventures Twice a week ( Wednesday 11AM SLT & Saturday 6AM SLT) Following with a party. It's always good for you.
"Go where you feel most alive."
Kinky Seas? hmm How? How much?
I don't need to describe it in words. But Huge disclaimer its NOT an orgy Porn group/party. Topless?Yes. Naked? Yes IF YOU WANT, Hot Gals and Guys? YES YES YES. NO Dress code. but keep your scripts as low as possible.
Where to get a boat?
There is a real active boat builder scene. Tradewinds Yacht Club (TYC) In the Sim of Dex has regular boat shows and works extensively with boat builders. Tradewinds is home to the Free BWind boat (a fantastic beginner and intermediate sailboat) along with the Free Flying Fizz. You can buy some boats from Fair Winds Marina vendors too. My Personal favorite where I got my boats are from The Mesh Shop. Not to forget if you are a Sea lover BBX Design / Yachts & Buildings is the perfect store for you.
Sailing is Not Easy I say, most of the boats are heavy and cause lag, thus make you end up crashing or flying or spinning lol so make sure you try the boats before sailing and read the instruction manuals, every boat has different commands.
Do's & Don'ts of Sailing!
The ultimate "Do" is have fun! Be nice when possible and helpful.
The ultimate "Don't" is never ever click on moving vessels! That would stop them and may the sailor make forget the "Do's".
